ABOUT US

Araya Polonio Arquitectos was founded in 2001 by Carlos Araya-Polonio, based in San José-Costa Rica, is a multidisciplinary architecture workshop that sees architecture as an environmentally responsible process and as the result of its socio-cultural context and the place where each project is born. We go beyond mere architectural design by expanding our services to the development of master plans, interior design, landscape design and support in the construction process from the beginning of the work to the end of it. We have developed projects ranging from eco-lodges, residential buildings, multi-use buildings, government buildings, healthcare, master plans and residential areas, industrial and commercial buildings, residences, and so on.
