The Occidental Allegro hotel was built in the 90’s and since then it had not undergone any comprehensive remodeling, so in 2014 we were entrusted with a conceptual proposal for the renovation of its 3 main buildings. At the explicit request of the client, the new project had to demonstrate a more modern image, with warmer materials and a clearer relationship with the environment.
The proposal did not touch the structural elements of any of the buildings, but rather a readjustment and optimization of the spaces with a new materiality and image. With the use of bamboo and wood, the proposal was raised whose objective was to reflect more elegance, as well as the use of travertines on the floors.
